Sophie Lavoie, a short film distributed by Vidéographe and the most recent work by Anne Émond, continues to make the rounds of film festivals and will be shown in the 10th edition of the Whistler Film Festival in British Columbia, Canada, on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 4:15 p.m.   ±

In its most recent issue (vol. 43, no. 5), the journal Leonardo examines the project Tactiques auditives. “Tactiques auditives” is the product of an initial collaboration between Philippe Pasquier and Philippe-Aubert Gauthier. This installation, created in 2007 during a sound and media art residency at Vidéographe’s “PARC laboratory” in Montreal, has been exhibited at venues such as the 2007 PureData Convention in Montreal.   ±

The choreographer, dancer and video maker Aurélie Pedron presents Multipare on November 27, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. at the Mange mes pieds studio in Montreal, Canada.   ±

As part of the 10th edition of the International FORUM for Young Composers, being held November 24-26, 2010, the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne presents 4 works distributed by Vidéographe which bring music and video art together for the first time.   ±

VIDEO CACHE is a collaborative project organised by wayward.ca and by Penny McCann of SAW Video. The launch will be held in the GIV offices on November 24, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.   ±
