For its 21st edition, Vidéastes Recherché-es will take place during the Rencontres cinématographiques de Québec on Saturday, March 31 at 8:00 p.m. at the Musée de la Civilisation (85 Dalhousie St., Quebec City). This evening for film buffs, with its energetic line-up of films, includes 18 fiction, experimental, documentary and animated films.

Three films distributed by Vidéographe are amongst this group: Noeud papillon by Fernand-Philippe Morin-Vargas, which won second prize at the Next Reel International Film Festival in Singapore, The Sun Doesn't Shine by Xavier Beauchesne-Rondeau and Combustion by Renaud Hallée.

A networking reception organised by the Conseil québécois des arts médiatiques (CQAM) will take pace in the lobby of the Musée de la Civilisation before the evening screenings to encourage contacts between young artists and representatives of funding agencies and artist-run centres.
