For its 12th edition, Elektra is offering digital culture buffs a top-drawer selection of the most recent contemporary work. Dedicated to promoting and disseminating digital art in all its forms, this year Elektra is focusing on the theme "Visualizing Sound". At six participating venues in Montreal, Canada, audiences can explore a diverse program devoted to audiovisual and immersive performances and to robotic, interactive and sound installations by more than thirty local and international artists. From May 4 to 8, 2011, Elektra invites you to take part in a unique event and experience singular works which join cutting-edge electronic music and visual arts issuing from new technologies.
