Bernard Schütze is an art critic, communication theorist and translator. The author of numerous essays published in various art journals, he has also produced pamphlets, catalogue articles and artist monographs. He has in addition given talks at numerous artistic events and exhibitions in Quebec, the rest of Canada and Europe. Bernard Schütze lives and works in Montreal.
