The subject of Babylon is the vanishing world of 20th century, its social icons, mythological events, technical means, chaotic and bloody history. Babylon investigates the unavoidable corrosion and disastrous power of technology, leading to the decay of technological society. The characters of this mythological drama move about in a landscape of scapmetal. Their actions are amplified by digital effects, computer animations, and punctuated by electro-acoustic music, which, in contrast to the minimalist backdrop of detritus, serves to create an apocalyptic atmosphere.
