Marik Boudreau was born in Montréal and currently studies photography. In 1976, she participated in the founding of Plessisgraphe, a coming together of photographers who focus upon documentary work. She then expanded her personal research to include geology and collaboration with other artists to ensure the survival and production of works by artists from myriad cultural and social groups. Her photographic works have been shown in Montréal, New York and Sao Paulo. She is interested in video as well and the incorporation of new technologies in her production.
