Marcello Dantas is a producer, designer and director of exhibitions, art films and cultural events, being a key figure in the arts scene of Brazil since 1986. He has a degree in film and television from New York University and a post-graduate diploma in interactive media from the same institution. Dantas studied art history and film theory in Florence, Italy and international relations and diplomacy in Brasília. His work has been awarded the Best Documentary prize in the Biennale international du film sur l'art at the the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and other awards at FestRio in Rio de Janeiro and the International Film and TV Festival in New York.
