Dominique Lacroix was born in Hull in 1976. She has a vocational school diploma (DEP) in ecological market gardening and a bachelor’s degree in environment and communications from UQAM. She has worked on community shared agriculture projects for the organisation Équiterre. Some of her other projects include collaborating with Albert Albala and Lydie Servanin on the video Libre comme l’air : la tournée à vélo écologique (8 minutes, 2002), and short documentaries such as Chronique d’une libération no. 1, which was screened by the Lucioles collective in the fall of 2002. In 2002, she founded the company Les Productions du Trille with Abala and Servanin.
