Alexandru is a Romanian filmmaker who lives in France. He studied at the Le Fresnoy between 2014 and 2016. He is interested in contemporary art and all genres of film: documentary, fiction, animation and experimental cinema. He is also a multidisciplinary filmmaker who writes, directs, shoots and edits video and sound. “I like to tell stories about ordinary people through film. My work is primarily autobiographical and addresses identity, family and solitude.”
