Andrée Préfontaine

Andrée Préfontaine lives in the Outaouais area with her husband and her three daughters. Trained as a violoncellist, she studied at the Conservatoire under the direction of Walter Joachim, and at Université de Montréal with Yuli Turovsky. In parallel to her musical career, she also did her Masters Degree in visual arts at UQAH and a specialization in media arts at UQAM. As a multiple grant holder, she is committed to an artistic process that combines sound and video image.
