Anh Minh Truong is a fiction filmmaker and a director working in the fields of commercials, music videos, television and the web. He also works as a video designer for live shows and for the theatre. Over the past 10 years, he has directed 16 short and medium-length films, over 25 commercials and music videos, and has cumulated more than 30 awards and distinctions for his work (Cannes’ Short Film Corner, Worldfest Houston, Promax/BDA Awards, Vidéaste recherché, Court en web, etc.). His films have been aired and showcased in 80 film festivals and on various TV channels, in many different countries. In Québec, he also distinguished himself by an acclaimed performance in the 2007 season of Télé-Québec’s TV show Fais ça court. After 4 years of work, he just completed his ambitious film Après la peine, and is currently developing feature length films projects.
