Anne Ramsden
Born in Kingston, Ontario, Anne Ramsden studied art at Concordia University and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and now lives in Montreal where she teaches in the École des arts visuels et médiatiques at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She works in a variety of media including sculpture, installation, photography and video. Her work has been exhibited across Canada as well as in the United States, Japan, Europe and Scandinavia. Recent shows include a solo exhibition in 2007 at the Musée de Rimouski entitled La collection et le quotidien, as well as Anastylosis at the Leo Kamen Gallery, Toronto, and Telling Objects, an installation with objects and video, at the Decorative Arts Museum in Bergen, Norway.
