Catherine D'avril is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Montreal. Her main fields of interest are photography, video and performance. In 2010, she creates Soirée de performance and performs in her own event at the Galerie l'art passe à l'est. She is the recipient of the Cré bursary of the Vallée du Haut Saint-Laurent for emerging artists. Also, in 2010, she formed a group of twelve performers, Les Abramoviques. The group was part of the Nuit Blanche (2011) at the New City Gas and they performed Intervalle, a project directed by Barbara Clausens at UQAM (2011).
