Christian Laramée
Christian Laramée was born in Acton Vale. He was taken at a young age by the paintings of Serge Lemoyne, whom he saw often because they lived in the same neighbourhood. In 1997, when he was a student in Art and communication at Collège Rosemont, Laramée co-directed with Simon Beaulieu and Benjamin Hogue a documentary on Lemoyne. In 2001, he completed a bachelor's degree in film studies at the Université de Montréal. At the same time, he founded a production company, Les productions F5.6. He currently teaches a class explaining the software program Avid Xpress at the Université de Montréal and is a technician in the film department of Collège Montmorency in Laval. He is presently hard at work on his second documentary.
