Dominique Vézina

Dominique Vézina (Montréal, 1964) is a multi-disciplinary artist who finds artistic expression through a variety of media such as video, sculpture/installation, and drawing. Her collaboration with Louise Camrass titled Dominique and Louise, won the prize for Best Video at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois in 1999. Often including herself in her work, she manages to cunningly portray the little tragedies of everyday life. She recently earned an MFA from the Royal College of Arts in London, where she has established her practice. Her work has been shown and/or screened in London, Dublin, Mexico, Montréal, Québec, Marseille and California.
