Born in Rouen, France, in 1954, Marie-Jan Seille has been living and working in Québec since 1986. She has worked with actors for the past twelve years, first as an agent in Paris and later as casting director in Montréal. In 1990, in collaboration with Suzanne Villeneuve, she created a photo-index of Québec actors and actresses, entitled Gros plans. Since 1993, she has concentrated on her personal production and writing projects.
