Michel Depatie was born in Montreal, where he studied cinematographic production in Concordia University. Active in the artistic stage since twenty years ago, his work includes installations, art videos, photography and short movies. He participated in solo exhibitions in Quebec and at the international. His work was among others exhibited in Art museum in Mont-St-Hilaire, in several Maison de la culture, and he was invited to some symposium of art in situ (for example in Derouin Fondation).In 2013, he presented in Cinema du Parc, his short movie, The Searcher, which paying tribute to Wim Wenders. Cantouque à Godin is his first documentary.
