Patrick Pellerin was born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec in 1973. He studied visual arts at Montreal's Concordia University and architecture at the Université de Montreal. He holds a degree in graphic design from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He currently lives in Montreal. His work ranges from graphic design to installation to video. He explores the encounter between these diverse media and uses them to stage human images and gestures or simple, repetitive activities.
