Pierre Lobstein
Pierre Lobstein is a video artist who lives and works in Paris and was born in Marrakech in 1953. He has participated in many experiments in art and communication and in various video installations and exhibitions throughout Europe, North America and Asia. He has directed video portraits of authors, visual artists, musicians and dancers. In 1981, he made a video called Is the medium a runner or the runner a medium? Two years later, he made Annonce pour quelques images disparues... and Nuit Blanche II. Between 1982 and 1985, he co-directed a series of four films : 703 visages de 4 milliards (with Valère Novarina), 249 visages de 4 milliards (with Sévéro Sarduy), 747 visages de 4 milliards (with Jean-Pierre Verheggen) and 666 visages de 4 milliards (with llamar Laaban et Jarl Hammarberg).
