A native of France, where he was born in 1955, Pierre Zovilé emigrated to Canada in 1978 to eventually complete his studies in architecture at Université Laval in 1982. Throughout the 1980s his multimedia and new media works were shown in galleries such as Toronto's A Space and Montreal's Galerie Articule and Oboro. He has presented his performances in Toronto, Montreal and New York.
