Steve Reinke
Steve Reinke is an artist and writer. He is best known for his work in video, including The Hundred Videos, a series he produced between 1990 and 1997 while completing his MFA at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Selections have been shown in solo and group exhibitions, festivals and screenings since its debut, including the Museum of Modern Art (New York, 1996), the Art Gallery of Ontario (1996), Power Plant (Toronto, 1995), YYZ Artists' Outlet (Toronto, 1995) and Oboro (Montreal, 1992). He has co-edited several books, including Lux, A Decade of Artists' Film and Video (with Tom Taylor) and the Sharpest Point: Animation at the End of Cinema (with Chris Gehman). A collection of his scripts, Everybody Loves Nothing, was recently published by Coach House Books.
