Vivien Forsans
Vivien Forsans is a franco-canadian animation filmmaker based in Montreal. Since 2016, he has directed six short films, which were screened and awarded in over 60 festivals around the world such as the Festival d'Annecy, the Sommets du Cinéma d’Animation or Hiroshima Animation Season. His animated film work, colorful and digital, tends to play with both narrative and experimental means, as well as genres and categories of film such as comedy, documentary, drama, and horror. His introspective works approach many social themes often revolving around mental health. In 2022, he obtained a B.F.A from Concordia University with a double major in Film Animation and Film Studies. In addition to animation, Vivien has worked many times with video, and also has an extensive experience in teaching film, animation and french to kids and teenagers.
