Yudi Sewraj has lived and worked in Montreal since 1993. Over the last ten years he has developed a body of short experimental videos. His work has explored ideas of "authenticity" and the particular relationship between the camera and the subject. In 2002 he moved to San Diego, California for graduate studies at the University of California San Diego where he completed two installations: Monologue Table - Rehearsal for an Apology (2003) and A Cold Night in February (2005). He returned to Montreal in 2005 with his partner Monique Moumblow and their two daughters. His installation Salon was shown at Articule gallery in 2007. He teaches at John Abbott College.
