Pascale Malaterre

Pascale Malaterre is a new media artist working in web and in situ installations, performances, operas for digital environments, photographic mosaics and theatre. A scholar working on the breaking down of media categories, she is a doctoral candidate at UQAM. She was born in Morocco to Catalan and Occitan parents and grew up in immigrant neighbourhoods in Montreal. She also works with the digital music machine invented by the Montreal group Artificiel, made up of Burton, Lakatos and Roy (les bulbes). She is presently with the fluos Lakatos.
