Jean-Pierre Bégin was born in Quebec City in 1951. He received his diploma in Film Production from the Alonqui College of Arts and Technology of Ottawa. Energy, Joie de Vivre, Viens t'en danser, Rien Qu'en Passant, La différence, Les Jeux de la XXIieme olympiade and Les Démons apprivoisés winner of a Genie Award in 1986, are some of the works of this film director,  photography director and cameraman.
