Louis Guillemette
Louis Guillemette is an Artist in Movement. He has worked for 30 years in the performing arts, film and video communities as a creator, artistic consultant, choreographer, dancer and improviser. His work has been presented in Canada, the United States, Cuba and Europe. He taught undergraduate $$ contemporary dance at Concordia University for 10 years. He has been invited to give training and courses at the Cirque du Soleil, UQÀM, LADMMI, in Europe and in the United States. He co-founded the dance centre Tangente. Louis danced with LALALA Human Steps for 5 years and has collaborated with many international dancers. He has directed work by Marie Carmen and choreographed for Cirque Eloize, Alain Choquette and the televised event Look 2000 in Geneva. Since 2000, he has worked as an artistic consultant and taught at the National Circus School in Montreal. He has been teaching his unique approach to dance and creation at Studio 303 for 17 years.
