Born in Rimouski (QC) in 1985, based in Montreal. In a multidisciplinary practice focused on performance, Caroline St-Laurent combines art and sports to engage in a feminist critical analysis of the cult of performance. She completed an MA at the Université du Québec à Montréal around this problematic in 2012. Recently, women athletes have experienced her devices at OFFTA live art festival (Relais papillon, 2016), at Tangente - Laboratoire de mouvements contemporains (Relais papillon, 2015) as well as at a basketball court in Montreal (Visez l’excellence en vous, 2015). Caroline is a member of the feminist artist-run center La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse.
