Papillon/bacon

The video Papillon/bacon examines the physical limits of the body through the presentation of two similar movements, one related to the sports world (physical performance), and the other to art (performing arts). Both images are presented side by side and in slow motion. They show a professional swimmer demonstrating the butterfly stroke technique and the artist attempting to reproduce the movement on the ground, in a custom-built environment. A strange competition develops between the two movements.
