Chantal Dahan is a visual artist and an independent filmmaker. She was born and raised in France and now lives in the province of Quebec, Canada. Her work has been shown in Canada, France, Italy, South Korea, Montenegro... She was twice awarded the Prize of Excellence in New technologies by the Foundation pour les arts, les lettres et la culture de l'Outaouais. Her video What Are Indians Good For? was made as part of a project on West Quebec's rural culture and identity, thanks to the financial support of The Canada Council for the Arts.
