Jérémie Battaglia
Jérémie Battaglia is a Franco-Canadian director based in Montreal and born in France, in Aix-en-Provence in 1983.
He became known for his photographic and video work on the 2012 student movement in Quebec, particularly through the short documentary film "Casseroles".
After directing several web documentaries for the National Film Board of Canada and participating in the creation of Télé-Québec's "La Fabrique culturelle", he focused on the production of his first feature-length documentary, "Parfaites", a film which follows the journey of the Canadian national artistic swimming team as they prepare for the Rio games. He has since directed "Le Frère", a short film mixing documentary and animation as well as two documentary films for Télé Québec: "La gout de trop" and "What remains of our vacation?"
At the same time, he also produced numerous video clips such as for the singers La Bronze or Mat Vezio, dance videos but also video designs for theater plays.
