Born in 1958 in Annecy, France, Loïc Connanski studied at the École de Journalisme Télévisé (television journalism). He is currently a television cameraman. He has also created close to forty art videos. "My work plays on the irritation and practice of facetiousness, rather than on emotion: the irritation produced by long emptiness, absence of sense, that becomes understandable in suspended immediacy.
