Marion Chuniaud-Lacau
Based in Montreal since 2015, Marion has a master's degree in international and intercultural communication. She quickly applied her sensitivity and artistic eye to her reflections, notably through photography and video. Passionate about the human encounter, she is interested in gender issues, political and cultural stakes of art and the processes of art and social transformation for a more just and inclusive society.
Her first short film in Colombia portrays women artists committed to peace and the development of their community. Marion has also collaborated with the Marie-enfants rehabilitation research center (CHUM Sainte- Justine) where she observed the children in the adapted dance program to promote dance for health. Today, she is currently perfecting her knowledge in documentary filmmaking by following the training at the Institut National de l'Image et du Son (INIS) in Montreal.
