Martin Guérin
Martin Guérin was born in Amos and lives and works in Rouyn-Noranda. He holds two undergraduate degrees, in psycho-education and interdisciplinary visual arts, and has been teaching film at the Abitibi-Témiscamingue CEGEP since 2000. A multidisciplinary artist, some of his past activities include work in $$ visual art and theatre. He is a familiar figure in performance circles and participated in the international event PassArt 2000, in Projet 555 and in the Festival d’art interdisciplinaire de Rouyn-Noranda (2002 and 2004). Fascinated by popular culture, in 2003 he made Bric à Brac, a documentary on garage sales which was shown in several festivals in Quebec and France.
