Natalie Rich-Fernandez has been painting for many years and she tackles video the way one paints. Her work resembles a performance in which she prepares all the elements which compose and create an image : raw materials as direct as action. The story is not told, it is generated by the accumulation of images. Her work is at one and the same time about the conscious, the unconscious, the animal side within us and energy.
