Rémi Lacoste
Remi Lacoste studied cinema and visual arts at the Université de Montréal and photography at College Marsan. His work in media arts over the past ten years has included acting as director, camera operator and editor in several types of work : experimental, fiction, dance, live and documentary. He also works in the video game industry as a game designer, director of photography and director of film sequences in the games. He now approaches photography in a narrative, graphic and playful manner. When he does portrait photography, he tries to use models from among the people he works with or to provoke situations out of the ordinary. In addition, in its personal work, he explores the theme of the duality of the human beings, the things and the environment. He has an eye sharpened for the composition which he uses to express himself through architecture photography. Remi Lacoste is Canadian, he lives and works in Montreal.
