Born in Drummondville (Quebec ) in 1981, Sarah Fortin studied in Literature at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) before doing a BA in Communication. She completed her degree in cinema by making a short film called Deux Enfants qui fument. She just finished a documentary about the famous Stephen Faulkner called J'm'en va r'viendre and a short film called Le Fleuve à droite.
