Bruno Baillargeon was born in 1962. He received his M.A. in Comparative Literature from the Université de Montréal in 1991. He was a script-writer, advisor and technical director on Le soleil et ses traces (1990), a fictional work co-directed by Louis Bélanger and Denis Chouinard. In 1990, he founded Productions Malachie and in 1991, he scripted and co-directed Les Galeries Wilderton with Louis Bélanger.
