Video director and photographer. Born in 1972. Lives in Paris (France). France Dubois practises the photography and the video in a complementary way. She also develops a practice of installations and distribution of images in touch with the architecture and the urban environment. Not having attended a school of art, she formed her approach around meetings and around successive influences, around the cinemaddiction in the contemporary image. Her approach articulates around a certain apprehension of places. She becomes attached to the landscape as to the details or to the figures which cross it. Her images, so passing as the infinitely big in the infinitesimal, are the elements of a puzzle which present between them points of continuity or stepping. In a ceaseless dialogue, they build a set.
