Jean-Guy Michaud was born in 1954 and studied history at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He worked as camera operator for Travelling Productions and AVT Productions and was general manager of Vidéographe from 1981 untill 1983. His projects have been mainly educational and documentary videos.
