Myriam Moutillet

Miryam Moutillet studied classical dance at Les Grands Ballets Canadiens (Montreal) and received futher professional training at several schools. In 1976, she began her professionnal career with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens company which enabled her to participate in several tours of Canada, the U.S. and Europe. In 1980-1981, she was active among independent dancers and choreographers in Montreal and later collaborated on different choreographies with Edouard Lock with whom she co-founded La La La Human Steps. In 1983, she presented her first choreographies Free Lance, Coups de Coeur and Rendez-vous sur une aile déserte. In June of 1984, she directed three videos, In extremis, Nickel-Odeon and Free Lance.
