Nizar Bessi is a young Tunisian-Canadian researcher and filmmaker. He started his cinema studies at the University of Montreal and is currently working on his Ph.D. in cinema and audiovisual media at Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3. His theoretical and practical work deals essentially with the particular commitment of artists living in exile. Joyeux is his first short film, it was made within a research creation
