Born in Holland in 1945, Yvonne Oerlemans has studied at the Fine Arts Academy in La Haye (1974-79) and at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (1983). Her work in video began in 1982. Her participation in various exhibitions has brought her success, from Amsterdam to Paris and New York to Bonn, within the museum circuit or in collaboration with Scandinavian television. Her videos have also received recognition in numerous international video art festivals.
