A duel/duet between and for a monitor and a TV set. The monitor shows a three-minute loop about writing and communicating accompanied by a woman's voice singing acappella: "...It is not really me writing this text, I am not really writing this text, I am writing transparent texts, I am talking in a fake voice...". The TV set seen through a confusion of letters shows what a TV set usually shows. The viewer can change channels or change the volume balance between the two sources. This videotape is a document of an installation first shown at the Minor Injury Gallery, New York City, in 1988.
