Dutch Light : Textual Actions

marshalore establishes strange pairings of text and image to convey her personal passion for Dutch culture. Van Eyck’s invention of oil paint was based on the quality of light found only in Holland. The work is constructed by the superimposition of transparent floating layers of events in the same way that the Dutch painters added thin diaphanous layers of oil paint, one on top of another, to produce the astonishing Dutch light.
