Upon completion of his studies in cinema, Richard Jutras began working at Vidéographe as a director, musician and soundtrack creator. Since that time he has been active as a director, scriptwriter and editor. He has made eight short films in a five-year period, including Rendez-vous dans l'inachevé (28 minutes, No dialogue, 2007), whose action unfolds against a wartime backdrop.
