Vincent Guignard
Vincent Guignard was born in Switzerland in 1968 and has lived in Quebec since 1982. He studied cinema at the Université du Québec à Montréal and has worked as a film editor since 1996. Some of the people he has worked with include Martin Allard, Bruno Boulianne, Serge Cardinal, Jeanne Crépeau, Denys Desjardins, Catherine Fol, Catherine Hébert, Alex Margineanu and Julie Perron. As a filmmaker, he has directed and produced Petit discours du fauteuil (2007), Pierre Ouvrard, artisan relieur (2006), Les amateurs (2003), Élégie helvétique (Hubert Aquin en Suisse), for which he received the AQCC's Claude Jutra Award in 2001, and Trois petits tours (1995). He has also taught film editing at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
