L'Appât is a Simard/Wallot choreographic re-invention of the love duel. It presents a striking union between the forms of dance and sculpture. Neam Cathod's visual adaptation, recorded both on stage and near the banks of a river, evokes a primitive world and accentuates the conflicts between the two protagonists. The director uses video effects to transform the movements of the dancers into intense visual images.
