Webster Lake. Summer 1984. Late afternoon. A naked baby is romping about, a couple takes a break. Behind them, the surface of the lake shimmers. Motionless, behind the glass, she touches her stomach. From the water emerges the head of the child. She sighs twice. The dream dims. The lake becomes quiet. They remain still; the child looks at them and smiles. Touei : the serene, the joyous, the lake as in a Chinese trigram of the I Ching. Original soundtrack composed by Jean Décarie.
