Taking anthropophagy into account as a mystical ritual, this film illustrates the utopia of a body that has become the receptacle of an immaterial energy. In most indigenous anthropophagous cultures the act of “eating” someone was synonymous with the absorption of the energy and life force of a fellow creature. This eminently barbarian act reveals a deep symbolism and a strong belief in the concept of the soul or the energy that resides in the entrails of each living human being. One can thus envisage the translocation of this “energy” from one body to another, sometimes partially but in any case timelessly. This film seeks to illustrate the various ways in which this energy tries to take its place in a body. The way in which this film is perceived is free and open to any alternative understanding.
