Sound of Wear exposes the atypical path of three percussionists attempting to capture unlikely sonic moments: a rusty bath, dissolving flutes, sugaring on drums, melting ice, soaking wood… A variety of material reactions take place on different timescales. Against a backdrop of xylo-touring, the Bascaille percussion trio uses its worn out instrumentarium in a video that has itself undergone various alterations and hybridizations.
